GOAL: Help your advisees review elective choices for next year and help them understand how they will make their course selections.

- Look at the 2018-19 Course CatalogReview required classes for next year
- Review graduation requirements
- Look at all the elective choice
- KAT DO THIS: Provide advice about how to make good choices about electives--you can use this PowerPoint that Jess made as it explains all about the importance of selecting certain electives considering college/career goalsOpen their Academic Planner in Infinite Campus -- use the Academic Planner Powerpoint and check which credits you need and peruse/choose potential options in the drop down menus
- KAT DO THIS: Emphasize that students are making requests--we will do our best to honor students’ top choices but when making schedules we give priority to older students and sometimes electives get full
- KAT DO THIS: Advise students to request more than the classes that fit in their schedule
